August 25, 2008 By Gabriel Sandoval of Vicki A Romero High School Click to view the gallery 2008-2009 Fall Sports Have Commenced. VARHS will be offering Volleyball for girls, Cross-Country Coed, and Soccer for boys. VARHS will be participating in the Charter Athletic Association for the second year. We will be defending our title in soccer and cross-country and hoping to improve our standings in volleyball. Mr. Figueroa will be coaching both soccer and volleyball and Mr. Bueno will coaching Cross-Country. Our biggest challenge like every other year will be trying to prepare our athletes with limited resources but our school is known for overcoming odds and we plan to continue this year as well.
